SONNERUPGAARD MANOR, 1877 BARN, GARDEN
Come to the barn where the ceremony will be held right outside in the garden by the big tree. Please come early to find your seats outside before the ceremony starts. We will serve light snacks and drinks after the ceremony, and we might move the ceremony inside if it rains. Afterwards, we will proceed with taking pictures with all our loved ones, so please stand by when the toastmasters announces your turn.
Keep in mind that we'll be outside, so bring a layer just in case and wear/bring grass-friendly shoes.

This information is mainly for those of you who are traveling from outside of Denmark.
We recommend coming to Copenhagen (CPH) by plane as it is quicker and closer to the Sonnerupgaard Manor, however driving through Sweden or coming by boat from Norway is also an option. The closest harbor is in CPH.
It is about a 45-minute drive to the manor east of CPH and there are plenty of free parking spaces for those arriving by car.
We recommend renting a car if you're not already coming with one so you can effortlessly arrive or leave the manor, and explore CPH the rest of the weekend with ease.
From the airport in CPH you can take the train to København H and change trains to Hvalsø. From there we can try to coordinate pick-ups as it is a 25 minute walk to the manor. Total travel time is 1h and 48 min.
Expenses can be shared if several guests coordinate and take the same taxi together.
Sonnerupgaard Manor has many different types of accommodations in which you can choose from; suites for families of 4 to couples and singles. Several rooms are even conveniently directly connected to the Barn where the wedding will be held, so in case you need a quick nap or break from the party you can quickly retire either temporarily or permanently for the night.
We have provided a special discount for our guests who are interested in booking a room in Sonnerupgaard in the link below:

Sneppegaarden Bed & Breakfast: Close to Sonnerupgaard Manor, charming and cottage-like
Svogerslev Kro: A 25-minute drive away from Sonnerupgaard Manor, quaint and cozy
*There are many hotels in the closest city like Roskilde which are further away and require longer drives, but if you prefer those and don't mind the drive then check them out!
Book as soon as you know you're coming. Sonnerupgaard Manor doesn't have many rooms, so spots fill up fast. First come first serve.
Coordinate with friends/family. A lot of the rentals nearby have great spaces for groups, so try a glamping tent for your group to save some money and maximize fun!
Stay the whole weekend. We know you're super busy, but we'd love for you to be there the whole weekend. If you can, book a place for Friday through Sunday and get in as much wonderful CPH time and recovery time as you can after the wedding.
